Why what we do is different.
Brain.
By taking a shot gun approach to horse training, we do not strictly worry about the physical ability of the horse, but we worry about their mental wellness also. Happy horses make happy performance horses.
Body.
We have established very close working partnerships with the top equine veterinarians, farriers, chiropractors, massage therapists, physiotherapists and even psychics in the area to ensure that all of the horses within our care are at their physical best at all times.
Heart.
As the saying goes, if you don’t believe that horses have souls, you haven’t looked into their eyes long enough. This love and passion for horses drives all our of decisions and protocols in the Legacy program.
“I want clients to understand you don't need the fanciest horse. You don't need the best tack. Buying second hand is completely ok. I'm learning to not be ashamed of what I have. Because I wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm incredibly grateful to every horse that's come into my life because they've all taught me something! This industry can be incredibly challenging at times and it's up to us to change that. Support each other. Lift each other up. Work together.
I love watching people leave the arena with a smile. I love watching people be proud of their horse. Never think your horse isn't good enough for the industry because its perfect for you.
Horses are a gift. Cherish every moment you can with them. They will teach you more about yourself then anyone else, you just have to be willing to listen to them.”
